We appreciate your interest in our lakes and hope you find them to be as enjoyable as we have. Our lakes are a private, community of private properties. Sugarland Lake is an 80 Acre lake and McKay Lake is a 25 acre lake. The lakes are home to incredible Bass Fishing and other fish including catfish, white bass, largemouth bass, lake perch, various blue gill like shell cracker and an abundance of crappie.
Currently we have a boat launch and park at each lake. We offer annual Memberships for residents and non-residents as well as day passes that include two days of lake usage on both lakes.
Sugarland Lake Association is a 501 (c)(3) non profit organization that owns and manages the lakes along with several properties. All funds we receive go back into the upkeep of the lakes and surrounding properties.
The Sugarland Lake Association Board consists of residents of the neighborhood that work on a volunteer basis.

Our mission is to provide a space where members can connect, learn, and grow together, as well as promote environmental sustainability and advocate for policies that protect our planet. We believe that small actions can make a big impact, and we work tirelessly to create a more sustainable future for all.
Prohibited at the lakes
Sugarland Lake Association is an Alcohol & Drug Free Community. Alcohol or drugs are not permitted on Sugarland Lake, McKay Lake, or other properties owned or managed by Sugarland Lake Association. Violation of this policy may result in revocation of membership, banning from all properties, or possible arrest.
